Judith Damon is a Fine Arts Graduate of Bennington College, is considered to be one of the finest painters and sculptors on the east coast. After living for many years in the Boston area, She settled in the Roanoke valley. While a resident of New York City, she studied at the Metropolitan Museum. Judith has also completed advanced studies with Frederic Taubes, Robert Brackman, Gustav Rehberger, Lincoln Fox and Wilfred Steadman. She is a recipient of numerous awards at the Rockport Association and Copley Society in the Boston area. 

In Her Own Words "Art is a symphony for me. One's responses to the changing moods of life are never the same. One has to orchestrate color, values, textures and shapes, as a conductor draws out the varying tonalities of musical composition. The setting is which the art is experienced adds the final dimension."
